I wasn’t sure how much I’d like this stretcher bar set at first, but it ended up working really well. I do quite a bit of needlepoint and cross stitch and usually use a roller frame, so I wanted to try something that would hold the canvas more securely without needing constant adjustments. The kit includes several sizes of wooden stretcher bars, push pins, a small hammer, claw tool, and hanging hardware. Putting the frame together took a little practice, and I needed several pieces for my larger 18 x 18 inch project. The joints fit very tightly, so the included hammer definitely came in handy. Once everything was assembled, the frame felt sturdy and kept my project nicely stretched while I worked.
